Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. This is achieved using evidence based methods including CBT and/or Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) the evidence based NICE recommended treatment approaches for trauma.
We, like everyone, have had to adapt to Coronavirus. To keep ourselves and our clients safe, we no longer offer face-to-face consultations. However, by embracing technology, we have had excellent results and can still deliver the service our clients deserve.
Video Calls - We offer safe and secure video consultations. When you book you will receive an email confirmation including a link to the video consultation. No software is required, just click the link at the start of your session and the consultation will begin. This technology allows to share and update models on screen during the session.
Phone Call - For those without the technology, or perhaps uncomfortable with video, we can also offer phone consultations. To avoid confusion, please select your preferred option at the time of booking.
Online Booking - All our consultations can be booked on-line for your convenience. Payment is made at the time of booking. If you wish to cancel, that is not a problem, but please let us know 24hrs before your appointment and we will issue a full refund or change the time/date to suit you. For cancellations made with less than 24hrs notice, we will refund 50% of our fee.
As an introduction to our therapist, and to ensure we can offer a suitable treatment plan to meet your needs, we offer a free 15 minute introductory call to answer any questions you may have.
Following on from this, you can expect a detailed assessment to ensure we have a shared understanding of your needs.
Treatment would usually be recommended to start with weekly sessions costing £95 per 50 minute appointment. These may reduce in frequency as treatment progresses and positive progress is made.
As an experienced supervisor CBT Supervision is also available and can be at a frequency to meet your needs. Simply book in a 50 minute session to get started.
